LAPROVET has been a pioneer for the vaccination against Newcastle Disease in African villages, commercialising an adapted packaging : the inactivated ITA-NEW vaccine in 100 dose bottles.
For more than 20 years, the collaboration on this subject with many international development organisations (Coopération française, Vétérinaires Sans Frontières…) gave rise to a CD Rom titled « Health and protection of village poultry in Africa » describing a vaccination protocol adapted to African villages and based on a certain thermostability of ITA-NEW vaccine.

Consequently, an estimated population of 15 million village chickens is vaccinated each year in sub-Saharan Africa; this represents a significant effect for the fight against poverty, for the sovereignty and food supply to local populations.

The inactivated vaccine ITA- NEW, in 100 doses PET bottle, is successfully used for several decades in sub-Saharan Africa.
LAPROVET offers also a parasiticide in tablets, the VERMIFUGE POLYVALENT VOLAILLES. By improving the sanitary status of poultry through deworming, we consequently improve vaccine intake.

This interactive and multilangual CD Rom includes practical and detailed guidelines for vaccinator training and for poultry traditional farming.
